Calcium plays a vital role within the structure. It fortifies cell walls, and a calcium deficiency causes the weakened structure and reduces new growth. It also allows sugars and nitrogen to transfer throughout the plant.

The leaves may begin to curl or have strange shapes, particularly near the base. Brown or yellow spots may appear, which continue to grow if ignored. When plants do not receive proper calcium, it can damage and kill the roots, stunting plant growth.
How to Treat Cannabis Calcium Deficiency
A direct application of Magnesium/Calcium rich feed is the fastest treatment. First, check that pH levels are within range, as the soil may have become alkaline. Without the Ca/Mg supplement, you can add a teaspoon of hydrated lime into one gallon of water.

Adding powdered dolomite lime to the growth medium can help prevent a lack of calcium.
