Curing

Curing is the process of slowly drying harvested cannabis buds in controlled conditions to preserve and enhance flavor, potency, and smoothness. Buds are typically placed in airtight glass jars and "burped" (opened briefly) daily for 2-8 weeks. Proper curing breaks down chlorophyll, reduces harshness, and allows terpene profiles to fully develop.
