Edible
A cannabis edible is a food or beverage product infused with cannabinoids, typically THC or CBD. Common forms include gummies, chocolates, brownies, cookies, beverages, and capsules. Edibles are processed by the liver, converting THC to 11-hydroxy-THC, which produces more intense and longer-lasting effects (4-8 hours) compared to inhalation. Effects typically onset in 30-90 minutes.
