Pinene

Pinene is a terpene found in cannabis, pine trees, rosemary, and basil. It exists in two forms: alpha-pinene (pine aroma) and beta-pinene (dill, parsley aroma). Pinene is associated with alertness, memory retention, and anti-inflammatory effects. It may also counteract some of THC's short-term memory impairment. Strains high in pinene often have fresh, forest-like aromas.
