About this course
Welcome to Cannabis 101, Sativa University’s foundational course on the cannabis plant. This course is designed for curious newcomers, careful consumers, and anyone who wants the facts beneath the marketing.
Across five short lessons, you’ll learn:
- The plant’s history and the federal vs. state legal landscape
- What the “indica,” “sativa,” and “hybrid” labels actually mean (and what they don’t)
- The major cannabinoids and terpenes — and the science behind the entourage effect
- How different consumption methods compare for onset, duration, and bioavailability
- Responsible use, dosing fundamentals, and how to read a certificate of analysis (COA)
At the end you’ll take a short multiple-choice exam. Score 70% or higher and you’ll earn your Sativa University Certificate of Completion.
