Home Cannabis Cultivation Basics
Everything you need to grow your first plant successfully — indoors, outdoors, or in between.
About this course
Home cannabis cultivation is legal for personal use in most adult-use states and in many medical-cannabis states. This course walks you through the foundational decisions and skills you need to grow your first plant successfully — from choosing where to grow to harvest, dry, and cure.
Five lessons cover: choosing your environment, picking a growing medium, light cycles and the vegetative-to-flowering transition, water and nutrients, and the often-skipped step that separates good growers from great ones: drying and curing.
Check your state’s plant limit before you start. Most adult-use states allow 4–6 plants per household; some allow more for medical patients.
