Bento

I tried the braised minced pork over rice, or Lu rou fan, which is Taiwanese comfort food. The braised pork comes with some veggies, a braised tea egg, and some takuan pickles. Very delicious, authentic flavors. I look forward to trying the other items on the menu.

The chicken is a little bit dry, should have chop it for customer. But overall it’s still delicious with decent side dishes

As a Taiwanese we are excited to try this new place for Taiwanese style bento. This is a food court sharing with other eateries. The dining area is nice and clean it’s a great place for quick lunch at DTSJ. For food, the pork feet bento is the best. But some other items can be improved. The soup for the rice noodle is totally flavorless. The thickening for the meat dumplings soup is not the way it should be.

The bento tastes good. I saw homeless people around this area despite the presence of free public parking with a 90-minute limit. I still feel uncomfortable going here alone.

This restaurant is like shared kitchen concept and located in the San Jose downtown. You can order the food from the kiosk and easy to order. The environment is neat and easy. Not too many people when we were there. The outside surrounding is not very good. Better to visit the store before sunset. Highly recommend.
