Mayan Collective is so thoughtfully curated and honestly such a joy to walk into and explore. One thing I really like about it is the company donates a portion of sales to supporting a charity it really cares about. There’s a grass-roots feel and that’s something I love about the Central Coast. I have made candles, room scents, and bath salts there and it’s always a fun sensory experience. I also attended the Galentine’s event last year and can’t wait to go again this year. Two big thumbs up for Karla and her team on a great shop!

I visited the Pismo location about three years ago and recently brought my mother-in-law to the new SLO location for her birthday to try the candle bar. The staff were so friendly, and the space is absolutely beautiful. It was such a fun experience — I highly recommend it!

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience at the candle making and flower arranging workshop. The ladies were informative, helpful and eager to make our experience memorable! We had the best time mixing fragrance scents. We highly recommend the Mayan Collective Candle Bar.

I absolutely love this place! I’m so glad we have somewhere to make our own unique candle that we creat ourselves. Karla is so helpful and just totally fun to talk with and just learning about the bad things that are actually in candles that we bought in stores. I will never buy one again in stores. So far I have already made 4 candles! It’s just such a fun thing to do! Oh and the room sprays! My second favorite! I will be in to buy more!! One year has gone by and I have bought probably 10 candles! This place is literally amazing! Such a fun place to go and just do something. Every December, I buy candles from The Mayan Collectible to give my family and friends as Christmas gifts and they never dissapoint. This year I specially loved the large candles in concrete bowls and ordered for myself too. The candles are top of the line, natural ingredients, beautiful presentation and packaging. I appreciate the fact that they are hand poured and come from a small business that pay attention to high quality.
