It has really fun and playful things to see all around The Collection at Riverpark in Oxnard, and walking through it felt almost like stepping into a little outdoor world that was made to keep you curious the whole time. The place feels really lively and exciting in a way that teenagers would enjoy a lot because everywhere you look there is something happening with people hanging out, music drifting from different stores, bright colors from the shops, and that warm open air feeling that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. I noticed right away that there were a lot of teenagers there just walking around with their friends, taking pictures, getting snacks, and enjoying the freedom of having so many things to do in one spot. What surprised me the most was how easy it was to have fun there without needing to spend a lot of money or rush from one thing to another. Even just sitting outside near the fountains or the little seating areas felt relaxing and playful at the same time. The decorations and the way the whole place is designed make it feel almost like a small town inside a shopping center which is perfect for teenagers who love taking fun photos or just exploring a place that feels safe and welcoming. I did not realize how much there was to enjoy there until I walked around and saw how many different stores, restaurants, and hangout spots were tucked into the area. I really appreciated how comfortable it felt to just wander around without feeling pressured to buy anything. The atmosphere made it easy to enjoy the moment and I never doubted that the experience was going to turn out the way I hoped it would. I only visited The Collection Riverpark one time in my life before making this review but it left a strong impression on me because of how lively and youthful the whole place felt. It reminded me of the kind of environment where teenagers can feel creative, social, and free to be themselves. It was one of the most enjoyable and energetic outdoor shopping areas I have been to in a long time and I would highly recommend that even teenagers go there because it gives them a place to have fun, take pictures, walk around with their friends, and feel inspired by everything happening around them.

Today 1/15/2026 between the hours of 9:20am and 9:50am. As usual, in the mornings I come to the Annex yo have breaks fast. Well, today i parked at the same usual spot (this is part of the collection parking lot) within 5 mins this security guy with sunglasses goes around the parking lot like they always do. Making sure everything is okay, I guess. The guy drove by me once and left. Then comes back after 5 mins and does the same thing, except he pulls over behind me like a COP and says “hey, you cannot be hanging out here in the parking lot.” I asked why? What was the problem since had been there for a few mins dealing with the IRS. I wasn’t there for more than 10 mins. The the security guy said “I already gave you some time to either go in or go out” I wa shocked. Then I said “I didn’t know I was on a timer” he laughed. The he said “my bosses office is right straight ahead and whenever they seem someone sus they send me” I was like “but I just dealing with something on my phone and then I was gonna head to the Annex” The Guy says “nah you either go in or out” He demande! He said “there has been situations with other people” and I thought “what does that have to do with me?” So I come to find out that none of these “17 Code of Conduct” you guys have up on your website DO NOT apply to what happened to me or what this “security” employee demanded. If anything, based on your 17 codes of conduct; the only person disturbing the peace was YOUR SECURITY GUY!! How unprofessional and rude. Who trains these people. He should have applied for ICE and work for them. He literally forced me to either get out of the car to go have my breakfast or LEAVE! He treated me like this is high school or something. The guy violated code number 1 “he caused public inconvenience by disrupting my peace and harmony” as stated by your own conduct codes. That included his use of “authority” by intimidating me to either leave or get out of my car(my property) and y the way I pay taxes. Isn’t the parking lot “public space”? I for my self like your code says number 7. I myself wasn’t NOT “engaging in any activity not sanctioned or in compliance with the collection rules and regulations. The “security guy” violated code 17 by the way. Even my gym is here at the collection (24 hour fitness) and the guy literally disrespectfully and wrongfully kicked me out for no logic reason. Sad to see how nowadays people just hate for no reason. I even felt discriminated. Just should not come back here anymore. I rather go to the movie theater somewhere else. Bye

The Collection Riverpark is a fantastic outdoor shopping and dining destination that has something for everyone. It features a wide variety of stores, restaurants, and entertainment options, all in one beautifully designed area. Whether you’re shopping, grabbing a bite to eat, or just enjoying a walk, the atmosphere feels vibrant and welcoming. The layout is spacious and clean, with plenty of seating areas and nice spots to relax. Parking is convenient, and it’s easy to spend a whole day here exploring everything it has to offer.

Tons to do here. Food, shopping, entertainment, even a place to but things for your home like the Box Store. There’s also a gym in the collection as well. I’m a big fan of Panera and boba tea. So it o isn’t quick food they have it, if you want sit down food they have it and it’s pet friendly. There’s an area called the Annex food hall that has even more food choices.
