Berner's on Haight

This store is run by a bunch of punks. Seriously. The bouncer at the door was essentially a brick wall. Unresponsive and rude. When I approached the door he didn't even bother to look up from his phone until I said "hello..." Then he sluggishly moved out of the way, but no hospitality like other places. The sales assistant inside was pretty nice but he was shiesty. I feel like I was swindled. I bought a pack of edibles and went to pull out a $20 since at other places this brand is $16-$20. The guy saw another $5 bill in my wallet and quickly muttered "oh it's $25". I was so flustered I just handed it over, but was very suspicious afterwards. I looked at their website and it was $20 and rarely with tax is it a flat out number. I honestly feel like he pocketed the $5. And this wouldn't surprise me because this store and their employees seem unprofessional.

Some clubs are cooler than other's. Berner's is so fun! The place just looks futuristc! There's delicious examples of different strains of weed displayed in cones that you can pull out and smell,and choose from.They've got edibles, pre rolls,blunts, gummies, and a freezer full of yummis. Today I lucked out on a killer sale they were having. Bonus. The employees are helpful knowledgable,and dedicated! Tai helped me this afternoon . He was friendly. We had a really good chat. He told me he loves working at Berners on haight. How could not, the chill environment ,and great customers. Unfortunately there's lots of rude people to. I've worked on haight st. For many years and this doesn't suprise me a bit. The crew working here are local . Show some love. If you're lucky you might get a surprise joint on the way out!!

Quality of products and price is pretty good imo. Guest service is 50/50, the most engaging staff I had was the security guard. Staff that helped me didn't really make an attempt to be personable compared to all the other shops I've been to. Everyone had the personality of a door stop. On the other hand a cashier hooked me up with complimentary items when they had to substitute one if my items.

I’m just gonna dub it the best “candy store” by far! I got a variety of hard candy my favorite and even after informing the over zealous budtender I didn’t want anything sour somehow I got “two bags” of sour something anyway! Not a good look hunny especially toward someone visiting your establishment for the 1st time 😡made me feel “taken” overall a nice variety of things I like but I’ll definitely make sure the person who serves me “can read” I know how I want to spend mine 💯

The staff was helpful and kind. I got 2 prerolled blunts, The Soap - $30 and Bemore - $20. I did not feel any effects from either one. Very disappointed.
