It's been a few months since me and my wife have visited roots and the staff was completely different. My wife was standing in front of the pre-rolls and asked the employee's what they would recommend from the stock for pain management and or anxiety. The female staff member had a very rude tone in her voice and asked "with what? edibles, pre-roll or flower?" I told her pre-rolls but she looked at me, ignored me and continued to look at my wife like she was stupid and then asked then asked the question again. My wife not trying to start a verbal altercation with the staff said "pre-rolls just like he said" the female staff member then proceeded to tell us we could try the $7 pre-rolls but didn't tells us anything about the brand or the strains of flower used and continued to act as if she was annoyed that we would ask for recommendations. The male staff member did not say anything and as if he had yet discovered how to speak. We had planned on buying several pre-rolls but decided to buy only a couple and leave. I will not be returning to this dispensary, none of the other dispensaries in Shawnee have ever treated us this way.

The guy behind the counter at closing time on September 29 2025 most likely talks more about his life story than makes sales. It took him 45 minutes to make a sale on 1 gram of wax and let the other woman cut me in line for her 5 items and he proceeded to talk her ear off. he only let her go in front of me so he could keep me there longer and we would be alone. it made me extremely uncomfortable. i will not be bringing my business here as long for as i see this guy at the location. i drive from sparks because the options at the local dispensaries suck and frankly 45 minutes for one item and being uncomfortable the whole time is unacceptable.
