The flower that I got here was really dry and harsh. The bud tenders weren’t very knowledgeable. The store layout is really lame. I want to go into a dispensary that has jars of cannabis that I can smell and look at. That prepackaged flower is garbage.

Substance 97South is the best shop in town. Brandon and Alex are the best bud-tenders around! Super knowledgeable and kind, always a super positive experience.

Experienced some unprofessional behavior from the supervisor. Needless to say, I will not return. There are many better options in town.

I've shopped all 3 Bend locations (depends on what's in stock). All three locations offer: Great products, Great prices... &, most importantly, GREAT employees!! (friendly, easy going, knowledgeable, courteous) ... (hope you get a space in Redmond... cut my current ride in half)

In many cases, the same products you can find elsewhere are less expensive at Substance. With that being said, the selection is outstanding as well! While most shops seem to have limited variety, confined to a small display case, Substance is an entire shopping experience. Each wall of the shop is a display case making it an easy and more enjoyable dispensary shopping experience. Finally, Substance associates work one on one with you as your personal shopper. Having this available has allowed me a good repertoire with a staff interested in my Cannabis needs. I use Cannabis for Medical Benefits and the staff at Substance has helped guide me on a beneficial path. In summary: Low Prices, Outstanding Variety and Personal/ Helpful Customer Service. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
