Hi Cascade - Salem

Hi-Cascade was my go to shop for a year. I love the selection, and most of the staff are awesome. But one staff member adamantly refuses to wear a mask, which means the entire store is not safe to shop at anymore. Sucks that one person can ruin the whole thing, but until all of the staff is masked we'll be driving further into town to purchase from a dispensary that takes virus safety seriously.

On 8/16/20 I was in the area, came ALL the way from Corvallis to give this South Salem dispensary a chance again. Not only was I disturbed from their poor educate of properly wearing mask and gloves during this crisis. Their customer service was not only horrible, the dude at the front desk ( around 8:45-8:55 pm) gave me attitude and refused to give me my change. side note: only 2$ but still. I was very disappointed in the customer service the guy had.

Staff was nice, very informative. I bought an ounce of premium. Couple of bowls in I happen to look in the container. I found a very well used screen, a well used poker/ spoon and a Dorito chip. WTF, did this container belong to someone? Why was this in a supposedly clean container and staff that should have been picking our of the main container. I was at the ATM and didn't watch that activity. If it can be explained I'll be back, if not I'll look elsewhere.

I was really impressed with this place yesterday morning. It was early on a Sunday morning, and they were open. A girl friend/neighbor of mine and I were headed back home to Portland, from an out of town festival, and so we stopped in. The guy was super friendly and genuinely personable. Provided excellent 👌🏽 customer service, with attention to quality and be$t values, honestly. We will be back when in, or headed through Salem.

This place is simply the best. Prices are almost always the cheapest in town. The quality of the products is always very good to best in town. The tax is included in the sticker price which makes your buying experience as convent as possible. But what really sets them apart is their staff, they are patient and knowledgeable. They don't treat you like a sale, they treat you like a client and they want you to leave and return satisfied. They have even suggested some of their competitors to me when their current stock of an item is temporarily sold out, as opposed to trying to sell me something less effective, or that I may not even be interested in. Again first and foremost it is clear to me that when I deal with Hi Cascade they put MY needs before their need to profit. Id put a sixth star if I could.
