Option #3: Start a CBD Company

You can skip all the headaches and hassle associated with opening a dispensary in California at the moment and start with 100% legal CBD products at Farm Direct pricing.

Currently, you can find hemp derived CBD flower for as low as $87 an ounce and CBD oil for as low as $15/30ml bottles!

On Thursday, December 20th, 2018 President Trump signed the 2018 Farm Bill, a massive piece of legislation renewed once every five years since 1933, outlining regulations on everything from food stamps to environmental land use.

This bill did something, though, that the previous versions have not — it legalized industrial hemp, including the plants used to produce CBD oil. Currently surging in popularity due to its therapeutic properties, CBD has existed in a confusing legal gray, governed by a mishmash of laws that vary from state to state. Despite this questionable legality, it’s turning up in cocktails and wellness products, it topped $350 million in consumer sales in 2017 — and it’s expected to grow now that the bill goes into law.

How to make Cannabis Tincture

Edibles - Cannabis Tincture Marijuana Recipe

Ingredients:

1 1/8 high-proof alcohol, such as Everclear, 151 rum, or high proof vodka

1/2 ounce crumbled decarboxylated cannabis

Mason Jar Method:

1. Put the alcohol and cannabis in a mason jar. Cover tightly and shake. Store in a cool, dark cabinet and let steep for 4 days, taking the jar out to shale each day.

2. Strain by pouring through cheesecloth-lined strainer or through a fine-mesh yogurt strainer. Label and store in an airtight, dark glass bottle in the fridge. Tinctures will keep almost indefinitely.

How to make Cannabis Sugar

Edibles - Cannabis Sugar Marijuana Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup granulated sugar

2 tablespoons Cannabis Tincture made with Everclear

Method:

1. Preheat the oven to 200°F.

2. Put the sugar and Cannabis Tincture in a small bowl and mix thoroughly. The mixture will be a bit grainy.

3. Spread sugar in a thin layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 1 hour, removing the pan to stir the sugar every 15 minutes. The sugar will have a dry consistency with all the alcohol evaporated when it is done.

4. Let it cool. IF the sugar has lumps, run it through a blender or food processor, or alternately press the sugar through a sieve to restore its normal texture. Store in an airtight container at room temperature. It will keep indefinitely as long as it doesn’t accumulate any moisture, in which case it will turn gummy.

Edible Marijuana Dinner Recipes

Edibles - Cannabis Cheesy Alfredo Marijuana Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds fresh or dried fettuccine
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Cannabis Butter
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 cups half-and-half or heavy (whipping) cream
  • Salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black or white pepper
  • 3/4 cup (3 ounces) grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded whole milk mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter and cannabis butter over medium-low heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring often, for 30 seconds. Add the half-and-half, season with salt, and add the pepper. Bring to a simmer, stirring frequently and watching carefully to prevent the pot from boiling over, which can happen very quickly.
  3. Stir in the Parmesan and cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes. Stir in mozzarella and continue to cook until the cheese melts, about 5 minutes. Remove the pan from heat and whisk or use immersion blender to smooth the sauce. Pour over the hot cooked pasta and serve.

Serving tip: This recipe yields about 3 cups of sauce that has plenty of uses beyond pasta. Try pairing it with simple grilled or steamed chicken, fish or vegetables.
