Nitrogen Deficiency in Plants
Nitrogen is an important macronutrient, providing plant proteins and increases healthy growth.
Nitrogen Deficiency Symptoms in Plants
Some noticeable symptoms of nitrogen deficiency are pale or yellowing leaves that are curling or falling. Newer leaves at the base may show signs first but often spread throughout the plant. Leaves can become brown. It can cause faster blooming with smaller yields and buds.
Nitrogen Toxicity
If leaves become darker or deeper green, it can be a sign of too much nitrogen. To fix, lower nutrients or flush the container, removing excess nutrients.
How to Treat Nitrogen Deficiency in Plants
The standard nutrients are generally a fast fix as they contain higher Nitrogen levels. For example, fish-based nutrients. Another option is a light foliar spray that has a high nitrogen mix. Cannabis leaves absorb minimal amounts of nutrients through the leaf.
