Position Overview: The Production Technician is responsible for daily production activities including filling and packaging of pharmaceutical products. The technician must understand standard filling and packaging machinery function as well as basic troubleshooting ability. This position works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity while maintaining high quality standards. This position also is responsible for performing quality inspections of raw materials and finished products.

Major Areas of Responsibility: Manufactures, fills, weighs, packages, labels, records and tracks medical cannabis products through the production process, assuring readiness of the final product for customer sale. Setup & operation of production equipment including but not limited to Tablet Press, Induction sealers, Bottle filling, Cappers and Labeling equipment. Follows documented SOPs and special directions from the management team. Assists in the creation of new and revised SOPs. Maintains records of all products produced. Maintains a clean and organized work environment; Clean work areas and maintain tools in accordance with sanitation standards. Responsible for proper performance of assigned production tasks meeting all quality and productivity requirements. Ensures daily compliance with policies including but not limited to: state compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code and work schedules. Complies with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.

Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities): All applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Two to three years’ experience in production preferably in Pharmaceutical or food processing and a willingness to learn. Experience in a highly regulated operation. Attention to Detail – must be able to maintain concentration and quickly notice deviations in materials/finished products. Strong interpersonal skills including listening, negotiation, and conflict management. Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills. Ability to develop strong relationships and experience working on a team. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships in order to gain support and achieve results both internally and externally. Ability to exercise sound judgment and problem-solving. Ability to organize and prioritize work. Ability to perform repetitive work for a prolonged period.
