Anytime of day, you enter to find customers who are ready to greet you and talk about any topic. The Humidor is huge and has a cigar for any taste or mood you want. The owner is very knowledgeable about both pipes and cigars. Mike, the owner, uses an a well seasoned bowl to blend your pipe tobaccos and weighs them in an old time scale. Mike has extensive knowledge of pipe tobacco that is second to none and is more then willing to impart his knowledge on the customer. Like all independent shops, his humidor is full of boutique and large distributor cigars as well as bundles for any taste. If Mike does not carry a cigar you want, he is able to find a cigar that will suite your taste or mood. Excellent service with a comfortable lounge and authentic atmosphere.

It starts with a great cigar smell as soon as u walk in the front door. The owner is usually smoking a cigar himself in one of the aged to perfection leather chairs or helping a customer with his immense depth of cigar knowledge. The atmosphere to many may seem dingy but it compliments the amount of relaxation and calmness that surrounds u as u enter this business...i never smoked a cigar in my life let alone a cigarette but now because of the customer service and experience i had paired with the success of the cigar that the owner chose for me, i have been back multiple times and tried many suggestions. Purchased my first cigar from Mike today. He is very kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. I'd much rather take a trip to this store than order smokes from the internet. His place is great!

This is a st Pete treasure, I'm sure you could find a neater or perhaps more organized shop somewhere, but that means you missed a great selection. Mike's shop is personable, from Mike to the regulars (there are many) everyone is helpful. This isn't about selling you some fad product that is pushed from the distributor to owner to you, it's about finding a great smoke at a reasonable price. Buried in the giant humidor that Mike has built is a collection of outstanding cigars. Many of these you won't find anywhere else, because Mike, always careful in his selections ( he listens to his clients) buys great cigars and stores them. Ask Mike about a rare cigar and you will find he has many. At a reasonable price. This isn't like walking into some membership only place and pursuing a private humidor collection like fine wines, those places exist, and you better bring American Express. No, Mike is a consummate cigar persona that enjoys a great smoke and he wants you to enjoy one too. Soon there will be beer and wine at this little shop to go with the soft leather chairs and heady conversation. Buying your first cigar or buying for someone else as a gift, ask Mike he will be glad to help you find just the right stick.

It's a very friendly and casual place. I chatted with the owner for maybe 20 minutes while I was looking through his selection of pipes. He's a great guy, extremely helpful. Almost half the store is boxes of pipes stacked everywhere but that's the fun part about going there, he seems to know where everything is and it's like a surprise when he opens something to show you. This is just about the only place in St. Pete that still sells quality briar tobacco pipes, and his prices are very reasonable. I loved it, I will absolutely be going back in the future.
