Drove out to purchase some cones. I was told that “I don’t need to scan your ID I just want to make sure you’re old enough” (im 25, buying CONES!) I look 25 and have been selling much higher things than some cones. Went across the street to speedway and they hooked me up not only faster but much more kind and willing to do business. 2 things to learn here lady who works there : 1) Never leave any money on the table , especially to people who’ve shopped with you before (she acknowledged remembering selling me 4 packs of backwoods) 2) you’re telling potential clients that you’re discriminating against how they look and that you have the power to confirm when you tell me you don’t need to do a federal scan on my ID. That tells me that if I look too young to you, then you’ll ID me. Completely discriminatory if you’re not using a consistent true system. Awful business, even poor salesman behind the table. If your boss sees this: I am ready for hire and can sell far more than the inexperienced individuals you have behind the glass.
