Across the street from Claysburg Towers, there is a smokeshop and a massage parlor, allegedly owned by the same individuals, which I suspect may be involved in illicit activities. However, I would like to discuss a separate incident that occurred at the smokeshop. When I proceeded to the checkout counter, the cashier informed me of the total cost. As I attempted to transfer funds from One Bank to my Cash App to complete the payment, the cashier became increasingly agitated, suggesting that I should have done so prior to entering the store. Although I could understand his frustration if there were other customers waiting, the process typically takes only a few seconds. Moreover, I couldn't have done it ahead of time since I was unaware of the total cost. In response, I explained that the items were not essential, and the cashier's behavior had resulted in losing a weekly customer who had previously spent approximately $2,000 to $3,000 at the store. The cashier then instructed me to return the items to their original location, which I found amusing, and I subsequently left the store. It is essential for businesses to prioritize customer satisfaction, and in this instance, the cashier's behavior was detrimental to that objective. This experience highlighted the importance of empathy and understanding in customer service.
