Sam's Liquor and Smoke Shop

I’ve been meaning to find the time to do a proper review. In basehor I can’t recommend this liquor store enough. Especially Ryan who remembers his customers and is so great at recommending something New. Literally can tell you whats in the bottle. Such a great place. Being hispanic in a small town is not easy even if you grew up here but unlike Bohanan’s they make you feel at home.

The best store for adult beverages.

Excellent place. I've been coming here for about a year now. They have a descent wine selection all popular items and if there's even a really rare hard to find item, you'll be working with the manager who'll try hard to find you what you want.

This store is obviously under new ownership and I don’t mean that in a good way. I walked in and instead of having the nice shelves and displays and expensive liquors they had before they now have the stock white shelves that make it look like a quicky mart you would find in kcmo. I worry they are going to slowly phase out their top shelf selections they had before and go to more low end stuff. The new look overall just doesn’t say we have top shelf liquors. I wish they wouldn’t have changed. I used to spend hundreds of dollars here about once a month and I don’t think I will be giving them business anymore. They went from having multiple Glenfiddich in stock to only two and now have some weird knock offs that are over priced. And they sell hella cheap cigarettes displayed on the front counter instead of the more expensive cigarettes and cigars they used to have. It went from a world class liquor store to a gas station without the gas. I think I’ll be going across the street from now on

They use to be my favorite place until they stereotyped! My husband and I have went there 3 years straight almost four and what they're accusing him of could land him 20 years or more in jail because he looked like someone else they seen in their store . If your black... best bet for your freedom is to go somewhere else before your in the same situation as us!
