Maine Smoke Shop

Incredibly rude staff, accused me of stealing. This was my first time in the shop. I had just gotten off the bus and have to wait for over an hour for an interview. Awesome, i'll go check out the stores. I head in, they ask for my id, i show it to them, its all hunky dory. I stop right in front of their smoke sprays because i'm about to babysit some kids tomorrow, and my roommates smoke weed, so i thought itd be nice to get it for them. I ask the staff if they work well, they said yes and i said "awesome, I'll be right back." I know they didnt hear me, because their response was "have a good one". I dont have any cash on my person, so i figured i'd be able to swing by hannaford, get my cash from clynk, and come back to pick up the spray. The second i step in, they say that they saw on the cameras that i stole. I told them that did not happen, and offered for them to search my person. They refused. I asked to see the footage and they said "i wasnt worth the time". I even suggested they call the cops and show them the footage if they were so sure, and they refused that as well. I genuinely cant believe this happened. I dont know if they were bored and wanted something to spice up their day with or what but this is completely unbelievable. If by any chance the manager sees this, look for a monster energy drink in the camera, and watch the phone in my hands. Completely unacceptable.

Everyone is always so nice! Clean store and nicely stocked. They sell my menthol too!

Great employees i have been doing business with them for years and have always been treated great never had a problem returning anything they always make it write great prices as well 👍 😀

I really like this store. But recently I had went in to the Union Street smoke shop with a friend, I picked out a cigar he went to buy it. which she did not ID either of us."pretty sure that's against the law" then proceeded to say. "So you can put those cigarettes back that you stole!" Which is also against the law. That is called defamation of character. So I talked to the assistant manager, I told him the story and how it was uncomfortable for me to come back in now. He persisted to say that he watched the video and I leaned against the cigarettes. And he just told me not to come in again. So my suggestion if you don't want to be called a thief in front of a bunch of people and be belittled. Just make sure you don't go near the cigarettes in a cigarette store.
