Smoke Shop 1

I visited the Smoke Shop 1 on Xmas eve 2025 at approximately 11:30am in search of a last-minute gift. Not a great experience at all. I walked in and kindly asked to see an item from the top of a glass case. The staff member's attitude right off the bat, was VERY off putting. He appeared to roll his eyes and seemed annoyed that I asked for help - like I was bothering him or something. I even sarcastically asked, "Are you ok today??" He said that he'd just had a long day...mind you, it wasn't even noon! While I understand that everyone can have off moments, it was disappointing for a paying customer to encounter such negativity so early in the day. Stay home if you hate your job or get another one where you're not interacting with people. Though the staff member's demeanor did slightly improve by the end of the interaction, the initial experience had already done the damage. I ONLY completed the purchase bc I didn't feel like driving to another smoke shop on xmas eve. I've been coming here for years and there was once a really nice guy that worked there forever, who was super knowledgeable about all their products and was really personable - bring him back!! Not the first time I received poor service here since he left but this time was the icing on the cake. Word of advice: give that teeny tiny lil guy from today some customer service training! I noticed that he didn't ask for a phone number for rewards, which they may not even do anymore. Didn't matter though bc I won't be returning.

Great shop. Huge variety and employees are friendly and very knowledgeable.

They have a huge selection and great customer service. The line moves quick too, even though at times it can be popular and people take can take their time deciding. The clerks manage to keep things moving w/o rushing people either. Very well managed business in my opinion.

I no longer even live in Glen burnie. However, I will still drive over 40 minutes away to come here. Every single time I have been looking for something, even new products others do not even know about yet, they have it. Also there is plenty in stock! It's nice to have the discounts from the free rewards program also. Helps compete with 7 day waits on online merchants sometimes 16 if weather delayed. Which is extra hahaha 😆 If you haven't been ypu should check it out.
