⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | I Came in for a Lighter, I Left with a Spirit Guide "Walking into this shop is like stepping through a portal into a dimension where the air is 80% strawberry-watermelon fog and the laws of physics are merely suggestions. The Atmosphere: • The Lighting: It’s strictly purple neon. I’m 90% sure if I stayed in there for more than twenty minutes, I’d start glowing in the dark like a radioactive jellyfish. • The Soundtrack: There was a bass-heavy lo-fi track playing that was so slow I thought my heart might actually stop to match the rhythm. • The Scent: Imagine a forest fire, but the forest is made entirely of Incense Sticks and Blue Raspberry gummies. My sinuses have never been more confused or more delighted. The Employee (The Wizard): The guy behind the counter was wearing a beanie in 95-degree weather and had the most peaceful energy I’ve ever encountered. I asked for a simple pack of matches, and he spent fifteen minutes explaining the 'lore' behind a hand-blown glass pipe that looked like a translucent octopus. • He called me 'Chief' four times. • He offered me a sticker of an alien eating a taco. • I don't even own an alien-themed taco sticker collection, but I do now. The Purchase: I walked in for a $2 lighter. I walked out with a 'Limited Edition' gold-plated torch, a bag of 'mystery' snacks from a country I can't identify, and a deep-seated belief that the guy behind the counter knows exactly how the world is going to end (and he’s totally chill with it). The Verdict: I don't know what I bought, but I feel enlightened. My car now smells like a 'Midnight Rain' air freshener and I’ve been sitting in the parking lot for ten minutes just contemplating the octopus pipe. 10/10. I have no idea where I am, but the vibes are immaculate."
