Iron Deficiency in Plants

Iron is a type of macronutrient that is needed when using sulfates and nitrates compounds. In order for a plant to make chlorophyll, there needs to be iron. A deficiency can happen when the pH is wrong or if there is too much copper, manganese, and Zinc. Iron is vital for any energy-forming and metabolic processes.

Iron Deficiency Symptoms in Plants

You may see an iron deficiency during the growth of a new plant through interveinal chlorosis near the base first and move up as the plant ages. Yellowing veins is a clear sign of iron deficiencies.
